Build with Codemation on your own machine

For anyone with a Codemation workspace: an owner, a partner or a developer. Work in a terminal, or let a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex do the typing. You need Node 22 or newer, npm and pnpm.

  1. Install the CLI

One command installs the codemation command.

    curl -fsSL https://get.codemation.eu | sh
  2. Sign in

A browser window opens to confirm. If you work through a partner, sign in at your partner’s own address instead.

    codemation login
codemation login --url https://<your partner address>

Use the first line, or the second one if you work through a partner.

  3. Get your workspace’s code

Pull the code of your workspace, install it and check that it works. Not sure of the workspace name? codemation workspace list shows yours.

    codemation workspace pull <workspace>
    pnpm install
    codemation check && codemation test
  4. Work with your coding agent

Open the pulled folder in Claude Code or Codex. The project carries the Codemation skills, so the agent knows how to build and test automations. If the folder .agents/skills is missing, add the skills first.

    pnpm exec codemation skills sync
  5. Send your change

Your change lands in the sandbox first, not in production.

    codemation workspace push <workspace>
